Where does this list come from?
From the provinces’ own data: the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s truck rest area map, Quebec’s Parc routier dataset (rest stops that accept heavy vehicles) and British Columbia’s rest area inventory (sites open to commercial trucks).
Why are other provinces missing?
We only list provinces that publish their rest areas as data. Others will be added when their data is available.
